Bethlehem, PA., October 1, 2015鈥擱uth McCartney, CEO and co-founder of McCartney Multimedia, Inc. will visit Moravian College and present 鈥淏ig Data鈥擧ow Every Mouse Click is Significant,鈥 on Monday, October 26, at 6:30 p.m. The talk by the internationally acclaimed presenter on multimedia, former Russian pop music sensation, and step-sister of Sir Paul McCartney, is open to the public and admission is free of charge.
McCartney will discuss the connection between user-generated data that is being created, uploaded, collected and analyzed on a real-time basis to how companies and institutions measure and manage this unstructured information, and then use it to study customer behavior, predict trends, plan supply chains, teach students and more.
From the earliest days of learning the value of fans by helping with The Beatles fan club management as her childhood pocket-money job, to today鈥檚 big data opportunities in e-marketing, to mobile commerce and branding, McCartney and her team cover the spectrum of digital media from past to present, and they鈥檙e constantly working on future technologies.
McCartney holds the titles of CEO of McCartneyMultimedia.com, a creative digital agency and co-founder of fan management software company iFanz.com. "At first, the companies focused on developing and designing web sites and online campaigns for clients, but now we focus on all the methods of online marketing and social media interaction with celebrities, products, corporations, educational institutions and brands," McCartney said. "Big data and 'the Internet of everything' are changing the landscape and we stay in touch daily with an online community of experts in every field."
The technological, entertainment and social media insights that McCartney has gained have delighted and provoked dialog with audiences from Melbourne to Moscow, San Francisco to Sydnet and many points in between. She has worked with clients ranging from Intel to John Cleese, and from The State of Nevada to Paula Abdul.
