Bethlehem, Pa., November 3, 2015— The Moravian College Theatre Company presents the premiere production of Exhibit A, by Sam Weinberg and Christopher Shorr on November 5-8, 2015 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Arena Theatre. The tickets for the event are available in advance online at LVArtsboxoffice.org or they can be purchased at the door.
Exhibit A is a provocative, original play that shines the spotlight on issues of identity. The play will discuss the expectation of gender; race, disability, and religious influence in the way individuals see themselves. At the end of each production a moderated discussion will follow. Each conversation will cover many different aspects of the play. The moderators that were chosen have expertise and experience related to particular aspects of identity.
Each night of performances will focus on a different topic with a new moderator to discuss the implications of the issues on individuals. On Thursday night the topic will be religion, on Friday disability, on Saturday race, and on Sunday sexual orientation. It is advised that those attending the production should bring an open mind because some topics are based on sensitive issues with content that is not suitable for children.
