Why are the Career Readiness Digital Badges important?

Employers have expressed a disconnect between the skills they are seeking from recent college graduates and what students are able to present during the interview process. The digital badging program will help you become more prepared to showcase the skills and experiences you have developed throughout your time at Moravian. This digital record of employer desired skills can be referred to as you prepare for your future. Completing the badges is also one of the requirements to be eligible for the Career Promise.

How do I earn the Career Readiness Digital Badges?

You can earn points towards each badge by participating in a variety of activities such as engaging with your Career Development Strategist, attending certain events around campus, joining a club or organization, participating in athletics, and so much more! All activities have different point values based on factors including level of involvement; development of skill, proficiency, or knowledge; and overall responsibility. In order to receive the activity points and credit towards your badges, you will be able to track your activity participation through Suitable, a platform and app specifically designed for digital badging.
