  • Content - Understanding the central principles of neuroscience and their interdisciplinary relationships in a liberal arts curriculum
  • Concepts - Building intellectual framework for biological facts, psychological concepts, and philosophical theory as it relates to the mind
  • Ability - Developing proficiency in laboratory skills, problem solving, data literacy; acquiring new knowledge from the popular and scientific research literature; communicating scientific, psychological and/or philosophical information and ideas in relation to the field of neuroscience
  • Attitude - Maintaining an intellectual curiosity about the nervous system; developing an understanding of the ethics underlying new advances in the field of neuroscience; communicating the importance of brain research through service learning opportunities
