Housing & Roommate Assignments

New students must complete the Student Life Questionnaire and Emergency Contact Form by Monday, June 23.

  • Room and roommate assignments are determined based on responses to the Student Life Questionnaire.
  • If students wish to request a specific roommate, both individuals should indicate this preference in their Student Life Questionnaire to be considered.
  • Assignments are awarded based on the date the form is completed.

Room Assignment Details:

  • Room assignments and roommate contact information will be available on the New Student page on AMOS before the July 4th holiday.
  • Once assignments are posted, students can log in to AMOS to:
    • Specify a room layout
    • Specify bed preference (raised, lofted, or bunked)
  • Deadline for requests: July 18. Faciltiies will accommodate requests as best as possible.

Summer Room Visits | Students and families often wish to visit assigned rooms before move-in; however residence halls are not accessible during the summer due to conferences, camps, and facility improvements.

Student Mail and Packages

Personal mail and packages can be sent to you while you are a student. New students can learn their box number in AMOS by navigating to College Students > My Mailbox. Once you receive that information, we encourage you to have your mail sent to the following address:

Student鈥檚 Name
Box #
亚洲情色
1200 Main St.
Bethlehem, PA 18018

The Mailroom is located on the lower level of Reeves Library for Main Street Campus (Bernhardt-Wilhelm and Rau-Hassler residents) and in the HILL for South Campus (Main, Clewell and HILL residents). Click here for more information regarding the mailroom and services.

Move-In Day

Move-In Day is an exciting time for new students and their families. Please bring no more than two individuals to assist. Encourage other family members to remain at home.

When you arrive, you will be directed through the University entryway at the intersection of Main and West Locust Streets. Follow the road and arrive at the check-in tent.

For a successful move-in, mark all containers, boxes and bags with your first and last name, as well as building and room number. This will assist volunteers who are carrying items from the car to your new home.

Those participating in an early arrival group including fall athletics, marching band, UBUNTU, or the 1742 Experience will receive information regarding the check-in process from their coach or director.

Residence Life Staff

Each floor has a Resident Advisor (RA) an upperclass student who plays a key role in building community, providing support, serving as a resource, and enforcing University and residence hall policies. Your RA will help you navigate campus expectations but we also recommend reviewing the 亚洲情色 Student Handbook before moving in.

Meal Plans

First-year residents are automatically enrolled in the 鈥淗ound Unlimited鈥 meal plan, the standard option for students living in residence halls without private kitchens. While the HILL offers a full kitchen, first-year students residing there are still required to have at least the Hound Unlimited meal plan.

Students have the option to:

  • Switch to the Hound 200
  • Upgrade to the Gold Unlimited meal plan
  • Add Hound Bucks or purchase a rechargeable block as the semester progresses

Commuter students can select a meal plan based on their dining needs while on campus. Meal plans can also be added during the semester.
