ÑÇÖÞÇéÉ« Hosts Central Pennsylvania Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers Spring Meeting

ÑÇÖÞÇéÉ« hosted the spring meeting of the Central Pennsylvania Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers (CPS-AAPT) on April 8-9, 2016, with a PTRA workshop, invited talks, banquet dinner, poster session, and keynote speaker.  Attendees were faculty and students from regional colleges, universities and high schools from central and eastern PA.

 

Dr. Terry Hart: A Brief History of Flight

Dr. Terry Hart, Professor of Practice in the Department of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Lehigh University, gives the keynote address, "A Brief History of Flight," at the spring 2016 meeting of the Central Pennsylvania Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers. Hart is a former NASA astronaut, US Air Force pilot, and successful telecommunications executive who joined Lehigh's faculty in 2004. He was aboard the STS 41-C Challenger, NASA's eleventh Space Shuttle mission, launched on April 6, 1984. His current research activities include Lehigh's NASA Hopper Spacecraft Simulator project.
