Admission Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state license in SLP or State Education Certification, in good standing. (Many SLPs are licensed in multiple states.)
- Required: State license number or State Education Certificate
- State name
- Date through which license or certificate is valid
- Required: State license number or State Education Certificate
- Certificate of clinical competence and two years of clinical practice or three years of clinical experience by the start of the program
- Optional: Certificate of Clinical Competence number
- Date awarded
- Date through which certificate is valid
- Optional: Certificate of Clinical Competence number
- Résumé or CV
- Two letters of recommendation (one for Moravian Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology graduates)
- Personal statement that answers each of the following prompts:
- Describe your relevant clinical, teaching, or administrative experience and how it has prepared you for advanced study in speech-language pathology.
- Describe an experience that demonstrates your commitment to serving culturally and linguistically diverse individuals. How has this experience influenced your perspective?
- How do you plan to use the knowledge and skills gained from this program to address a particular issue or challenge in the field of speech-language pathology?
- Interview (if requested by program director)
