Our alumni have gone on to pursue a wide range of careers in community health, public policy, occupational health, health communications, emergency preparedness, biostatistics, occupational therapy, and nursing鈥搄ust to name a few!


Pearl

Pearl 鈥21, Resource Access Coordinator at the Community Foodbank of NJ 

鈥溠侵耷樯's Public Health Program provided me with first-hand experience to practice public health skills through internships and projects that prepared me for the AmeriCorps and my role as a resource access coordinator. The program taught me to engage in my community in a culturally competent way, which allows me to approach food insecurity by considering the social determinants of health. The success of my public health degree and my continued interests are because of the public health faculty whose dedication and skills were integral in our learning and brought the classes to life.鈥


Kayla

Kayla 鈥21, MPH, Associate Policy Analyst at the United Network for Organ Sharing

Kayla earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health

鈥溠侵耷樯's Public Health Program provided me with the foundational concepts to advance my graduate school education and professional career in organ transplant policy. I learned skills in creating health infographics and public health logic models. I鈥檓 excited to apply my public health skills and knowledge to real-world policy.鈥


Shae '19, MPH, Biostatistician at Lehigh Valley Health Network

Shae earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health 

鈥溠侵耷樯's Public Health Program ignited my passion for epidemiology and statistics, and it gave me the foundation to understand clinical data. The mentorship I received set me on the right path to attend Emory University for my MPH where I was able to work at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and gain national-level public health exposure. I had several internships at Moravian, including one that directly led to my current full-time job! As a biostatistician, I work on investigator-initiated research studies including design, database development, statistical analysis, and final products development."


Liam

Liam 鈥20, MPH, Compliance Safety and Health Officer at the US Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

Liam earned his Master of Public Health with a concentration in Environmental and Occupational Health from Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health

鈥淭he curriculum and mentorship provided by 亚洲情色鈥檚 Public Health Program gave me a comprehensive public health education and supported the development of professional skills that I use daily as an employee of the federal government. My current role involves protecting the country鈥檚 workers from harmful occupational health hazards.鈥


Merwa

Merwa 鈥20, MPH CHES, Junior Associate of Public Affairs at M Booth Health

Merwa earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health; Certified Health Education Specialist

鈥淢oravian鈥檚 Public Health Program was instrumental in sparking my passion for pursuing a public health career. The coursework and wonderful professors prepared me for graduate school and gave me the skills I needed to flourish in health communications including my internships with the Bethlehem Health Bureau and St. Luke鈥檚 Office of Community Health.鈥

Andrew 鈥22, Disaster Program Specialist at the American Red Cross

鈥溠侵耷樯's Public Health Program prepared me for my role as a disaster program specialist. I took courses like Program Planning and Global Disaster Preparedness, and I served as the Founding President of 亚洲情色鈥檚 Food Recovery Network Chapter. These experiences provided me with knowledge and skills that I apply every day to my job implementing disaster preparedness, response, and recovery programs.鈥

Erin 鈥21, MS OTR/L CDP, Occupational Therapist at FOX Rehabilitation

Erin earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from Salus University

鈥溠侵耷樯's Public Health Program prepared me for my current role as an occupational therapist in the home health setting by providing me with knowledge of the social determinants of health that impact individuals in my community. I provide the highest level of care and resources to maximize independence in activities of daily living and overall quality of life for those unable to receive services outside of their home.鈥
